Lance Who?!

OK, Let's Get Snarky.
New White House Press Secretary (does a press secretary take dictation?) Tony Snow fielded 84 questions in a 40-minute briefing Tuesday and had a George Bush moment when a reporter asked why he was wearing a yellow cancer-awareness bracelet. (I still wear mine, by the way. Do you?)

"I had cancer last year," said Snow, who had colon cancer. His mother died of the disease when he was 17. "Just having gone through this last year ... was the best thing that happened to me," he said. Sounds like something Our Boy Lance has said.

"I feel every day is a blessing," Snow added, becoming quite emotional in the process. That's not the Bush moment.

Snow had reporters scratching their heads when he said, "I actually had a chance to talk to Lance Anderson ... "

Snow corrected himself later: "I think I called Lance Armstrong 'Lance Anderson,' " Snow said. "So let me apologize to him for that."

OK.
