Since OLN-TV is the home of the Tour de France AND the National Hockey League, it only makes sense that OBL will be doing one of those voiceover spots in the current "My Stanley Cup" campaign. You can see it Saturday during NBC’s telecast of the NHL playoffs, then on OLN, the NHL Network and Canadian networks during hockey telecasts.
In the spot, the seven-time Tour de France champion tells us: "No one remembers who came in second [Uh ... Basso? Ullrich?]. There is no immortality for second best. No champagne bath . . . No engraving. Just a lonely walk down a quiet hall, and the silence can break your heart." Previous "My Stanley Cup" spots have featured the voices of Kiefer Sutherland, Denis Leary and Howie Mandel.
