Triple Crankset Teammate At The Giro

Dan McCormack was the Triple's teammate during the final week of the 2003 Trek Travel trip to the Tour de France.

A strong rider from Austin (of all places!), Dan has returned to Europe with Trek Travel for the final weekend of the Giro d'Italia. Depending on his Internet accessibility, he'll be filing some reports for the Triple!

Here's his latest note:
"Well, I’m off to Italy today!! Tons of mountain riding ahead with Trek Travel. I got on Google Earth yesterday and looked at some of the geography where we’ll be in northern Italy (in the Dolomiti Mountains mostly around Trento and Alleghe. I fly to Chicago, then Frankfurt and then to Milano, Italy (and get a 3-hour train to Trento to arrive late Sunday night). We ride mountain stages Tuesday through Saturday, and then watch the final stage in Milano Sunday. Fly home Monday, May 29th; you know the drill: Lots of ‘suffering terribly’ ahead for a great time!!"

Yes, the Triple knows the drill and is terribly jealous.
Happy riding, Dan!
