Back From The Beach

Cape Cod, the Jersey Shore ...
You can't beat it, but I'm happy to be home and in front of my own TV for the Tour. Got in some cycling on the Cape and along the famed boardwalk in Atlantic City, which is just north of Margate City, where Sheila and I stayed for a few days. I've had cable access, however, so I'm on top of the Tour and looking forward to commenting as things pick up.

To date, I've been impressed with Robbie McEwen in the sprints, and the way that Johan Bruyneel has been shuffling his deck to hide his aces. And why does Floyd Landis remind me of Our Boy Lance in the way he's played this first week? Oh -- and the crashes. Good job by the OLN team. How many times has Phil Liggett said: "What IS this Tour de France?!"
