IF Basso is innocent, then I'm sure he is not happy about CSC dropping him like a hot potato. If Phonak becomes a second American team as iShares, and if Landis is able to return, he's out of the picture. Is Danielson the next great American hope? Lance does have a special, cancer-related relationship with Basso. So it's a rumor worth mulling.
