The Good Life

You've probably seen this Andy Hampsten; the only American ever to win the Giro d'Italia.

But chances are, you haven't seen this one...

If one could consider the American cycling legend's 12 years in the professional peloton [and 22 years racing overall] as his Ying, then his time spent running Cinghiale Cycling Tours in Italy is certainly his Yang.

The current issue of Outside Magazine's spinoff GO, takes us on spin around the island of Elba as Hampsten imparts the importance of enjoying life like an Italian, "with a dash of dolce far niente - literally, "sweet doing nothing.""

Those Italians...they just might have something there!
