Delta 7 Sports Chosen as ispo BrandNew Award Finalist

PAYSON, Utah and MUNICH, Germany - Delta 7 Sports today announced its IsoTruss technology, used to manufacture the Arantix mountain bike and the Acsend road bike, was selected as a finalist in the ispo Winter '09 BrandNew Awards' Summer Hardware category.

A jury of nearly 20 international sports industry managers and press selected Delta 7 Sports as a finalist based on company's Arantix mountain bike frame (2.6 pounds/1,180 grams) and the Ascend road bike frame (approx. 1.8 pounds/ 817 grams). Both bike frames feature the extremely strong, patented IsoTruss® carbon fiber and Kevlar spider web-like open lattice tube design.

"We are thrilled that the Arantix mountain bike and Ascend road bike continue to gain international recognition and support," said Lester Muranaka, marketing director of Delta 7 Sports. "The selection as a finalist for the ispo BrandNew Award is yet another 'feather in the hat' of what we think is one of the most innovative cycling products on the market. We also look forward to exhibiting our products and technology in front of such a large international audience."

The more than 60,000 attendees of the ispo Winter 2009 show, held in Munich, Germany, Feb. 1-4, 2009, will have the opportunity to see the Arantix mountain bike and the Ascend road bike on display in the BrandNew Village at Delta 7 Sports booth (Hall B3, Stand BN 17).
