Interbike - In Search of...Trainers

Before leaving for Vegas, I was charged with the task of looking for a new trainer for T-o-03. Most of the exciting training equipment, for me, revolved around stand alone trainers or rollers that incorporated some type of computerized metrics tracking software or training module. But those types of trainers were off the radar during my search. Below are some of the results.

CycleOps Indoor Cycles have incorporated a "rides like a bike" design with biometric feedback of HR and Power...

Forza's Trainer looks very much like the "tried and true" indoor cycle...

Star Trac's Spinner Series...

The newly re-designed Lemond...whose expo sales/pitch man (below) tried to tell me that "there's no need for a product review, this is it...CycleOps, Star Trac are over."

some companies weren't present, but I've heard that the Lemond is actually one of the most realistic to real cycling there is...if you want more proof just ask our friend sue, who has had one for many years
