Hausler Finishes In Pink, Bookends For Wild - 20th Giro Donne Stage 9
To say that the women of Cervelo Test Team had an outstanding ten days at the Giro d'Italia Femminile would perhaps be an understatement.
The team proved utterly dominant, winning the Prologue and 2 other stages, and leading the General Classification, including on the final stage, for eight (8) out of ten (10) days.
Kirsten Wild would finish with bookend victories, claiming the Prologue and Stage 9; the latter in a sprint ahead of Safi - Pasta Zara Titanedi teammates, Giorgia Bronzini and Diana Ziliute.
