To follow up on her impressive 2nd place in the Cat 1/2/3/4 at the Cox Charities Cycling Classic in Providence, RI on June 24th, and a more than respectable 9th in the Cat 1/2/3 at the Seacoast Criterium two days later, our friend of the blog, Liz Hatch (Vanderkitten) came away with a pair of NRC victories in Sonoma, CA this past weekend.
On Saturday, July 7th, Liz soloed to win the Infineon Cougar Mountain Classic Criterium and doubled up in the same fashion on Sunday claiming the Circuit Race.
When I asked her for a post-victory comment, Liz had this to say, "Thank God I won, cause that hurt like hell!"
To that, there's only one thing left to say [to Liz] about the races in Sonoma...
