Caple on the Tour

As a hardened member of the Red Sox Nation, I became a fan of ESPN's Page 2 during the 2004 World Series Championship run, following the rantings and ravings of Bill Simmons.

Since then my fandom has just snowballed, and my mind hasn't been right since.

Now comes Jim Caple, who covers baseball, the college campus scene, and cycling. In his latest offering, Caple gives you 10 reasons why this year's Tour should hardly be referred to as the Tour de Farce.

Caple writes:
"Oh, I know. Saying you're a fan of the Tour this summer is like saying you still listen to Creed. Because of the recent doping scandals, you're not supposed to care about the race. The Tour is so off the radar, the Department of Homeland Security has downgraded the wristband color code from yellow for "Livestrong" to white for "Apathy.""
