So Much For My Choice To Win The Tour de France

Does this look like a potential Tour de France winner (photo by Graham Watson)?
OK, so I concede.
George Hincapie has.
Hincapie finished 44th, 21:23 behind and is now 40th overall at 23:01.
"The general (classification) is over for me. Now I will just try to recover and go for some stages (wins)."
Yeah ... Good luck, George. You and which Discovery teammates?

Please don't take this as told you so but this is why I considered George a dark horse.

It's an undeniable fact in performance management that if you spend your entire career in the supporting role, your chances of taking on the leadership position and having success is a real "uphill" battle. Here in lies why Landis and Hamilton defected as they carry the gene. Well Tyler carried more apparently.

George is our boy and there is simply no one nicer in the peloton.

Looks like the whole team prefers to carry the water.
